Eagle Pass, TX - This Monday, Rubén Herrera, one of the members who was served as part of the board of directors for approximately 10 years, took over the direction of the Chamber of Commerce.
Herrera was appointed as the new Chamber of Commerce Executive Director by the board of directors chair, Mr. Jorge Barrera, He will take over the vacated position left over a year ago by Sandra Martínez.
Margie Montoya, who has worked as interim director, as well as Luz Casanova, will remain employed within the entity.
In his speech, Herrera said that it is time to take the Chamber of Commerce to the next level and offer the promotion that local and out-of-town businesses need.

Eagle Pass, TX - Este lunes, Rubén Herrera, uno de los miembros que se desempeñó como parte de la junta directiva durante aproximadamente 10 años, asumió la dirección de la Cámara de Comercio.
Herrera fue designado como nuevo Director Ejecutivo de la Cámara de Comercio por el presidente de la junta directiva, el Sr. Jorge Barrera, quien asumirá el cargo que dejó vacante hace más de un año Sandra Martínez.
Margie Montoya, quien se ha desempeñado como directora interina, al igual que Luz Casanova, permanecerán empleadas dentro de la entidad.
En su discurso, Herrera dijo que es hora de llevar a la Cámara de Comercio al siguiente nivel y ofrecer la promoción que necesitan los negocios locales y foráneos.
