Eagle Pass, TX - Maverick County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested a 37-year-old man whom his mother reported after in addition to threatening to kill her, he tried to assault her during an incident that took place in an area of Deer Run on White Tail Street.
The individual was identified as Hugo Adrián Beltrán who was immediately taken into custody by an officer when he heard the victim's version.
Beltran faces charges of assault due to family violence and terroristic threats, which kept him confined in the Tom Bowles detention center.
Sheriff Tom Schmerber stated that this subject has constant referrals to the sheriff's department for different reasons.
His last arrest resulted from a persecution caused after his family reported him because he took a car without consent, according to Schmerber.
Now he is going to be prosecuted for the reasons indicated by a justice of the peace.
