Eagle Pass, TX - #MeToo Movement hit Eagle Pass today, when a rape victim broke her silence making allegations of a sexual assault claimed to have occurred 18 years ago.
Victim Luana Mendoza wrote, "...wow, I've been afraid to speak up but now is the time to help open up the dialogue for women that have gone through similar situations, Rape is rape and I want to let other know it is ok to speak up... I haven't been able to stop thinking about the day you raped me and I think I'm finally ready to tell my mom and speak up... It's about other woman who have been in similar situations and haven't told a soul for fear of the repercussions..."
