Piedras Negras, Mexico - Tras haber confirmado un par de casos positivos por coronavirus recientemente, Piedras Negras reportó la primer muerte a causa de COVID-19.
La víctima, un adulto mayor se encontraba hospitalizada en la clinica 11 del Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social (IMSS) en la ciudad fronteriza de Piedras Negras.
Segun fuentes confiables, esta mañana fallecio el paciente debido a complicaciones de "sindrome dificultad respiratoria", identificada como la complicacion mas frecuente en casos de COVID-19.
La muerte occurrio a las primeras horas de la mañana del dia sabado 4 de abril 2020.

Piedras Negras, Mexico - After confirming a couple of coronavirus cases recently, Piedras Negras reports the first death linked to COVID-19.
The victim, an elderly adult, was hospitalized at the Clinic 11 of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) in the sister city of Piedras Negras, Mexico.
According to reliable sources, this morning the patient died due to complications of "respiratory distress syndrome", identified as the most frequent complication in cases of COVID-19.
The death occurred in the early hours of the morning of Saturday, April 4, 2020.
