Eagle Pass, TX - Detectives from the Maverick County Sheriff's Office are searching for the subject responsible of running over a person of approximately 30 years of age, over the weekend in the Chula vista sector.
The aggression with the vehicle that is classified as a murder attempt, was initially reported around 7PM on Saturday nearly five hours since the man was lying on the ground near Candelario Montalvo street, reported Lieutenant Efraín Valdez.
Valdez said that the preliminary investigation has made progress and they already knew that a surveillance camera in a nearby residence captured the exact moment of the incident, including when the victim attempted to throw a rock at the Nissan-type unit, but ended up being brutally impacted.
The MCSO spokesperson declared that they are going to check if other neighbors may have had video recording cameras that captured the event to establish the characteristics of the vehicle.
Despite the injured man being taken to the local emergency room, he airlifted to a San Antonio hospital for further evaluation.

La agresión con el vehículo que califica como intento de homicidio, se reportó inicialmente alrededor de las 19:00 horas de este sábado casi cinco horas después de que el hombre yaciera en el suelo cerca de la calle Candelario Montalvo, informó el teniente Efraín Valdez.
Valdez dijo que la investigación preliminar ha avanzado y ya sabían que una cámara de vigilancia en una residencia cercana captó el momento exacto del hecho, incluso cuando la víctima intentó arrojar una piedra a la unidad tipo Nissan, pero terminó siendo brutalmente impactado
El vocero de MCSO declaró que van a revisar si otros vecinos pudieron haber tenido cámaras de video que captaron el evento para establecer las características del vehículo.
A pesar de que el hombre herido fue llevado a la sala de emergencias local, fue trasladado en helicóptero a un hospital de San Antonio para una evaluación adicional.
