Eagle Pass, TX - On Saturday, November 6, the application of COVID-19 vaccine booster shots will be administered for local teachers other staff members of the Eagle Pass Independent School District, where school administration is recommending that they receive it.
Superintendent Samuel Mijares reported that the clinic will begin at 10AM and will conclude at 4PM at the Student Activity Center.
There are nearly 2,500 registered employees that are highly encouraged by EPISD administration to receive the dose as it will help strengthen health and prevent COVID-19 critical effects.
The booster shots are not mandatory, but optional for all staff, stated Mijares.
