Eagle Pass, TX - A deputy responded to the intersection of Main Street and Bibb Ave. this morning after City of Eagle Pass Police Department vehicle was involved in a motor vehicle accident.
Contact was made with officers at the scene, who reported they had encountered a male subject asleep behind the wheel of 2012 Dodge Challenger when he struck a Police Department patrol unit.
The subject, later identified as Eduardo Maldonado, III, then reversed his vehicle and struck a second patrol unit.
He was arrested on DWI charges and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
