Eagle Pass, TX - Maverick County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a possible domestic violence report on Monday morning.

A 911 emergency call was made by a 8-year-old boy who reported his parents were involved in an altercation at a residence located in the Chula Vista sector.

It was during the first hours of Monday when at least three deputies were sent to the place after the minor asked for help when he saw that his parents were fighting verbally.

Fortunately, the parents did not engage in physical assault, and the officers who were dispatched to the call were able to intervene.

No arrests were made, however, the couple received a warning that if police receives a report again, the situation could be addressed differently.

Una llamada de emergencia al 911 fue realizada por un niño de 8 años que informó que sus padres estaban involucrados en un altercado en una residencia ubicada en el sector Chulavista.

Fue durante las primeras horas del lunes cuando al menos tres diputados fueron enviados al lugar luego de que el menor pidiera ayuda al ver que sus padres se peleaban verbalmente.

Afortunadamente, los padres no sufrieron agresiones físicas y los agentes que fueron enviados a la llamada pudieron intervenir.

No se realizaron arrestos, pero la pareja recibió una advertencia de que si la policía recibe un informe nuevamente, la situación podría abordarse de manera diferente.
