Eagle Pass, TX - Two weeks after being shot in the face and leg, the 17-year-old victim who was attacked on board of his vehicle by two subjects currently on trial, is in grave condition in San Antonio, authorities continue with the investigation that includes the compilation of arguments of some first hand witnesses.

This incident took place on the evening of January 12 at the intersection of the El Indio Highway and Veterans Boulevard where the affected person was shot while driving his Jeep Cherokee (pictured).

The aggressors who had been detained by police, Luis Mario Ochoa and Miguel Alejandro Ontiveros, face a bail of $75,000 for an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge, and while one was reportedly released from jail, the other was is in the process to be released, however, both will eventually appear in court when the prosecutor presents the case.

Lieutenant Héctor Blanco said that on Sunday he was able to obtain the statement of a person who claims to be a first hand witness to what took place on that evening.

Despite he did not provide additional information, Blanco assures that the victim and aggressors had a previous conflict and that was the origin of the shooting.

Eagle Pass, TX - Dos semanas después de recibir un disparo en la cara y la pierna, la víctima de 17 años que fue atacada a bordo de su vehículo por dos sujetos actualmente en juicio, se encuentra en estado grave en San Antonio, las autoridades continúan con el investigación que incluye la recopilación de argumentos de algunos testigos de primera mano.

Este hecho ocurrió la noche del 12 de enero en la intersección de la Carretera El Indio y el Boulevard de los Veteranos donde el afectado recibió un disparo mientras conducía su Jeep Cherokee (en la foto).

Los agresores que habían sido detenidos por la policia, Luis Mario Ochoa y Miguel Alejandro Ontiveros, enfrentan una fianza de $75,000 por un cargo de asalto agravado con arma mortal, y mientras uno habría sido liberado de la cárcel, el otro está en proceso de ser liberado, sin embargo, ambos tendrán que comparecer eventualmente ante el tribunal cuando el fiscal presente el caso.

El teniente Héctor Blanco dijo que el domingo pudo obtener la declaración de una persona que dice ser testigo de primera mano de lo ocurrido esa noche.

Pese a que no dio más detalles, Blanco asegura que víctima y agresores tenían un conflicto previo y ese fue el origen del tiroteo.
