Del Rio Veterans Service Office to Provide Aid to Local Veterans

Del Rio, TX - Thanks to a collection carried out over weeks, the Val Verde County Veterans Service Office will be providing aid to former servants of the armed forces of this country.
Adrián Bitela, director of the Val Verde Veterans Service, organized this activity together with Emily Cooper, office staff and local families, all with the purpose of assist those who served in the armed forces.
All war veterans from this border are being invited to visit the offices on December 18 to receive a blanket or a toy for their children.
The only requirement for them to be able to attend this event and receive this support is to be a war veteran and they will also be able to enjoy coexistence with other officers who were also in service for years.
Every year this office carries out an activity to help war veterans of Del Río, Val Verde County and due to the pandemic on this occasion they will only be able to deliver blankets and toys that were collected, redistribution will be on the 508 block of 11th street from 9:00 am until 12 pm..
