Del Rio, TX - Thanks to a collection carried out over weeks, the Val Verde County Veterans Service Office will be providing aid to former servants of the armed forces of this country.
Adrián Bitela, director of the Val Verde Veterans Service, organized this activity together with Emily Cooper, office staff and local families, all with the purpose of assist those who served in the armed forces.
All war veterans from this border are being invited to visit the offices on December 18 to receive a blanket or a toy for their children.
The only requirement for them to be able to attend this event and receive this support is to be a war veteran and they will also be able to enjoy coexistence with other officers who were also in service for years.
Every year this office carries out an activity to help war veterans of Del Río, Val Verde County and due to the pandemic on this occasion they will only be able to deliver blankets and toys that were collected, redistribution will be on the 508 block of 11th street from 9:00 am until 12 pm..

Del Rio, TX - Gracias a una colecta realizada durante semanas, la oficina de Servicio a Veteranos del Condado de Val Verde estará brindando ayuda a ex servidores de las fuerzas armadas de este país.
Adrián Bitela, director del Servicio de Veteranos de Val Verde, organizó esta actividad junto a Emily Cooper, personal de oficina y familias locales, todo con el propósito de ayudar a quienes sirvieron en las fuerzas armadas.
Todos los veteranos de guerra de esta frontera están invitados a visitar las oficinas el 18 de diciembre para recibir una manta o un juguete para sus hijos.
El único requisito para que puedan asistir a este evento y recibir este apoyo es ser veteranos de guerra y además podrán disfrutar de la convivencia con otros oficiales que también estuvieron en servicio durante años.
Cada año esta oficina realiza una actividad para ayudar a los veteranos de guerra de Del Río, condado de Val Verde y debido a la pandemia en esta ocasión solo podrán entregar mantas y juguetes que fueron recolectados, la redistribución será en la cuadra 508 de la 11. calle de 9:00 am a 12 pm.
