Eagle Pass, TX - Authorities have reported a fatal motor vehicle accident that occurred in Maverick County last night.
The accident occurred about four miles out of Eagle Pass on Highway 277 headed to Carrizo Springs.
There were two trucks involved including one pulling a utility trailer. At some point the trucks collided causing the utility trailer to impact the truck that was pulling it.
Two individuals in that truck, tragically died at the scene. The driver of the other truck was ejected from the vehicle. He was airlifted to a San Antonio Texas hospital for further evaluation and treatment.

El accidente ocurrió a unas cuatro millas de Eagle Pass en la autopista 277 en dirección a Carrizo Springs.
Había dos camiones involucrados, incluido uno que tiraba de un remolque utilitario. En algún momento, los camiones chocaron y el remolque utilitario impactó contra el camión que lo arrastraba.
Dos personas en ese camión, trágicamente murieron en la escena. El conductor del otro camión salió despedido del vehículo. Fue trasladado en avión a un hospital de San Antonio, Texas, para una evaluación y tratamiento adicionales.
