Eagle Pass, TX - The Eagle Pass Police Department is currently investigating an armed robbery incident that took place at the local Wingstop restaurant.
A male subject was reported to have entered the business after its closing via a back door and displayed a firearm ordering an employee to give him the money from the business safe.
The employee complied with the assailant's order and handed over $4,000.00 which was pending to be deposited.
The assailant was further stated to have taken the employees wallet and car keys and proceed to take his 2014 gray Dodge Avenger and fled the area in an unknown direction.
Security footage of the incident provided a good description of the assailant which was provided to all local agencies.
EPPD detectives are currently investigating the incident and information will be provided as it becomes available.

Se dijo además que el agresor tomó la billetera y las llaves del auto de los empleados y procedió a tomar su Dodge Avenger gris 2014 y huyó del área en una dirección desconocida.
Las imágenes de seguridad del incidente proporcionaron una buena descripción del agresor que se proporcionó a todas las agencias locales.
Los detectives de la EPPD están investigando el incidente y se proporcionará información a medida que esté disponible.
