Uvalde TX- The Texas Department of Public Safety arrested two subjects who fired at them while attempting to flee.
The incident occurred on Sunday when a Uvalde County Sheriff Deputy attempted to pull a vehicle over on suspicion of human smuggling.
The driver of the vehicle attempted to flee and caused a high speed pursuit on rural road FM 55 near Uvalde Rd.
Officials reported that the operator of the vehicle was discharging a weapon toward officers during the pursuit.
No injuries were reported, and an AK-47 and pistol were located next to the operator of the vehicle. The subjects were transported to a detention center and await for criminal charges to be filed against them.

El incidente ocurrió el domingo cuando un ayudante del alguacil del condado de Uvalde intentó detener un vehículo bajo sospecha de contrabando de personas.
El conductor del vehículo intentó darse a la fuga y provocó una persecución a alta velocidad en la vía rural FM 55 cerca de Uvalde Rd.
Las autoridades informaron que el operador del vehículo estaba descargando un arma hacia los oficiales durante la persecución.
No se reportaron heridos, y se ubicaron un AK-47 y una pistola junto al operador del vehículo. Los sujetos fueron transportados a un centro de detención y esperan que se presenten cargos penales en su contra.
