Eagle Pass, TX - The Eagle Pass Police Department received a report of fake currency being utilized at International Bridge 1.
According to the police, a Piedras Negras man attempted to pay the international bridge toll traveling from Eagle Pass into Piedras Negras with a fake $10 bill.
The cashier detected the fake bill and seized it, requesting the person to pay with another bill.
The US secret service took over of the bill, and is currently investigating the case.
This is the first case of fake currency detected so far this year, however, fake currency has been detected in the past.
