Eagle Pass, TX - A tragic collision that took place on Highway 277 (Del Rio blvd) on Tuesday afternoon has left a woman lifeless in addition to 3 people injured, including a minor.
Two pick-up trucks participated in the collision, which were totaled from the front and their occupants were trapped inside.
MCSO and Texas DPS are investigating the accident, since a person resulted dead.
Sources report that the driver of one of the units was trying to turn into the boulevard towards the city but due to the sunset that was facing him, he was dazzled and could not see when the other truck was approaching at a high rate of speed.
The injured passengers after being restrained from the vehicle were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Eagle Pass, TX - Una trágica colisión que tuvo lugar en la carretera 277 (bulevar Del Rio) el martes por la tarde dejó a una mujer sin vida además de 3 personas heridas, incluida una menor. En la colisión participaron dos camionetas pick-up, las cuales se totalizaron de frente y sus ocupantes quedaron atrapados en el interior. MCSO y el DPS de Texas están investigando el accidente, ya que una persona resultó muerta.
Las fuentes informan que el conductor de una de las unidades intentaba doblar por el bulevar hacia la ciudad pero debido a la puesta de sol que lo enfrentaba, quedó deslumbrado y no pudo ver cuando la otra camioneta se acercaba a gran velocidad. Los pasajeros heridos luego de ser inmovilizados del vehículo fueron trasladados al hospital con heridas graves.
