Eagle Pass, TX - Thanks to efforts made by the National Guard, a total of 1,000 individuals including hundreds of children between the ages 12 and 17 of Mexican origin received their COVID-19 vaccine at the facilities of the International Bridge II throughout the day on Tuesday.
The cross-border vaccination clinic was achieved again in agreement with the health authorities on both sides of the border and was aimed at workers of the maquiladoras installed on the Mexican side and their children, said Mexican Consulate Ismael Naveja Macìas.
The official declared that it is an excellent achievement that allows the Mexican population to be immunized thanks to the availability, unity and goodwill of authorities in the United States.
It is the first dose that these individuals receive, they are set to return on October 5th for the second dose.

Eagle Pass, TX - Gracias a los esfuerzos realizados por la Guardia Nacional, un total de 1,000 personas, incluidos cientos de niños entre 12 y 17 años de origen mexicano, recibieron su vacuna COVID-19 en las instalaciones del Puente Internacional II durante todo el día el Martes.
La clínica de vacunación transfronteriza se logró nuevamente de acuerdo con las autoridades de salud de ambos lados de la frontera y estaba dirigida a los trabajadores de las maquiladoras instaladas en el lado mexicano y sus hijos, dijo el cónsul Ismael Naveja Macías.
El funcionario declaró que es un excelente logro que permite inmunizar a la población mexicana gracias a la disponibilidad, unidad y buena voluntad de las autoridades de Estados Unidos.
Es la primera dosis que reciben estas personas, están programadas para regresar el 5 de octubre para la segunda dosis.
