Eagle Pass, TX - An Eagle Pass News Leader reader contacted us this afternoon to clarify what this morning's Border Patrol operation was all about.
According to the reader, he was having car trouble when a BP unit stopped not to lend assistance, but to check his legal status.
Before long he reports backup units were called in leading to the resulting scene captured on camera and reported this morning.
After the federal agents were convinced they over reacted they left and the reader was allowed to continue dealing with his car trouble and then be on his way.
