Eagle Pass, TX - A Memorial Junior High School student was sent home to quarantine self after testing positive for COVID-19 on Monday, educational sources report.
The incident forced officials to send school staff home who could've had contact with the student and have been exposed to the virus and get administered a COVID-19 test.
The foregoing took place a few days before the Eagle Pass Independent School District begins the upcoming holidays where students and staff will take a two week break from school.
The student is one of a few that receives face-to-face education in the classrooms and due to this the necessary precautions have been taken to prevent the spread of the fearsome heavily contagious virus which has affected numerous of school employees at different campuses.

Eagle Pass, TX - Un estudiante de Memorial Junior High School fue enviado a casa para ser puesto en cuarentena luego de dar positivo por COVID-19 el lunes, informaron fuentes educativas.
El incidente obligó a los funcionarios a enviar a casa al personal que trabaja para la escuela y pudo haber tenido contacto con el estudiante, se les administrara una prueba de COVID-19.
Lo anterior ocurre unos días antes de que el Distrito Escolar Independiente de Eagle Pass comience las próximas vacaciones, donde los estudiantes y el personal tomarán un descanso de dos semanas de la escuela.
El alumno es uno de los pocos que recibe educación presencial en las aulas y, por ello, se han tomado las precauciones necesarias para evitar la propagación del temible virus muy contagioso que también ha afectado a varios empleados de diferentes campus.
