Eagle Pass, TX - A couple who got involved in a physical altercation while riding in a pickup truck was detained by sheriff deputies after the woman reported the incident.
The event took place near the Highway 57 and Loop 480 intersection where 20-year-old Halley Perusquia was driving a Ford F-150 along with 32-year-old Ryan Reyes who was seating as a passenger.
The female driver claims that Reyes struck her with a closed fist in the face and on her ribs, also slammed her head against the steering wheel.
After hearing the above, the deputies who responded to the call made a search inside the vehicle and the individuals were found in possession of a package containing marijuana.
Both were placed under arrest; Perusquia for possession of drugs, Reyes for domestic violence.
It should be noted that the woman was treated by the prison doctor but she did not show any serious injuries, only swelling on her face.

Eagle Pass, TX - Una pareja que se vio envuelta en un altercado físico mientras viajaba en una camioneta fue detenida por agentes del alguacil después de que la mujer reportara el incidente.
El incidente ocurrió cerca de la intersección de la autopista 57 y el Loop 480. Halley Perusquia, de 20 años, conducía una Ford F-150 junto con Ryan Reyes, de 32, que iba sentado como pasajero.
La conductora afirma que Reyes la golpeó con el puño cerrado en la cara y en las costillas, también golpeó su cabeza contra el volante.
Luego de escuchar lo anterior, los agentes que respondieron a la llamada realizaron un registro en el interior del vehículo y los individuos fueron encontrados en posesión de un paquete que contenía marihuana.
Ambos fueron puestos bajo arresto; Perusquia por posesión de drogas, Reyes por violencia intrafamiliar.
Cabe señalar que la niña fue atendida por el médico de la prisión pero no presentaba heridas graves, solo hinchazón en el rostro.
