Eagle Pass, TX - The 20th Annual "Cabalgata Internacional La Grande" is set to kick off on Friday morning from International Bridge number 2.
Eagle Pass Port of Entry number two will remain closed for vehicular traffic from 9am to 11am on Friday due to the traditional international horse riding "cabalgata" event.
Commuters are advised that if traveling from or two Mexico during the specified time please use other methods to reach their destination (International Bridge 1).
The event is traditional to this border; year-after-year representatives from both sides of the border, Eagle Pass and Piedras Negras meet and engage in a special ceremony held at the International Bridge Number 2.
The 'cabalgata' is scheduled to start in Eagle Pass and ride along towards San Antonio, Texas.
A significant number of participants is expected in this unique successful event.

Eagle Pass, TX - La vigésima edición anual de la "Cabalgata Internacional La Grande" comenzará el viernes por la mañana desde el Puente Internacional número 2. El puerto de entrada de Eagle Pass numero dos estará cerrado para el tráfico vehícular de 9 a.m. a 11 a.m. el viernes debido al tradicional evento "cabalgata" internacional. Se recomienda a los viajeros que si viajan a o desde México durante el tiempo especificado, utilicen el otro método para llegar a su destino (Puente Internationcal numero 1).
El evento es tradicional en esta frontera; donde año tras año los representantes de ambos lados de la frontera, Eagle Pass y Piedras Negras se encuentran y participan en una ceremonia especial celebrada en el Puente Internacional Número 2. El 'Cabalgata' está programada para comenzar en Eagle Pass y conducir hacia San Antonio, Texas. Se espera un número significativo de participantes en este evento exitoso único.
