Eagle Pass, TX - Elements of the Eagle Pass Police Department responded to the toll booth at Port of Entry #1 for a reported assault.
Officers spoke with a Port Security Officer who stated he was struck in the face by an unruly male subject identified as 27-year-old Guadalupe Castillo, EPPD release says.
The security officer stated he had approached Castillo after he became belligerent towards a female and upon asking Castillo what the issue was, he was struck in the face with a closed fist, according to EPPD.
Castillo was detained and turned over to Maverick County Sheriff's Investigators who would be conducting the arrest and investigation.
