Eagle Pass, TX - Eagle Pass is proud to announce that EPHS Senior David Ray Kypuros was named the 2018 VYPE Defensive Player of the Year.
The decision was tough when Runner-Up Kaylon Green from Del Rio High School was also competing for such distinguished nomination but came short with 86,074 votes (35.66%) compared to David's 91,845 votes (38.05%). According to EPISD, Kypuros also serves as a positive role model for younger students in the district being an active member of EPISD Spirit Ambassadors.
David was also the 2018-2019 District 29-6A MVP and Captain of the Bi-District EPHS Eagles Football Team.
