Carrizo Springs, TX - Authorities report that around 6 am on Monday morning a fatal accident registered on HWY 83 near Carrizo Springs, Texas.
A driver of a GMC pickup truck identified as Ricardo Rodriguez, 48, from Eagle Pass, Texas passed away in the accident.
According to preliminary reports, Rodriguez was driving the truck when he lost control causing the vehicle to overturn.
Upon arrival of the Dimmit County Fire Rescue they were advised of a occupant that was pinned inside the vehicle. Further Investigation of the scene EMS personel advised that the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was deceased.
The cause of accident is under investigation by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS).
