Eagle Pass, TX - The Eagle Pass Police Department is currently investigating a deceased person which was reported on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at 6:13 pm within the 500 block of Ceylon Street.
Investigating officers arrived and discovered an elderly male subject at the residence who was formally pronounced dead by a justice of the peace.
An autopsy was ordered, and the deceased was to be transported to the medical examiner's office by a local funeral home,
A firearm was recovered at the scene and is being processed accordingly.
No further details were revealed by EPPD who's spokesperson stated, "Out of respect for the family, information will be released at a later time as it becomes available."
