Eagle Pass, TX - Elements of the Eagle Pass Police Department (EPPD) managed to locate and arrest a subject who had been wanted since April.
The man faces accusations against him for physically assaulting his significant other who at the time of the alleged incident pregnant.
The subject was identied as Juan Humberto Fernández, 25, whom agents of the Criminal Investigations Division took into custody and transported him to the police station to be processed by a justice of the peace.
His case will be referred to the county prosecutor's office so that a date can be scheduled when he must appear in court where he will receive his punishment, said EPPD spokesman Humberto Garza.

El hombre enfrenta acusaciones en su contra por agredir físicamente a su pareja que en el momento del presunto incidente estaba embarazada.
El sujeto fue identificado como Juan Humberto Fernández, de 25 años, a quien agentes de la División de Investigaciones Criminales lo detuvieron y lo trasladaron a la comisaría para ser procesado por un juez de paz.
Su caso será remitido a la oficina del fiscal del condado para que se pueda programar una fecha en la que debe comparecer ante el tribunal donde recibirá su castigo, dijo el portavoz de la EPPD, Humberto Garza.
