Eagle Pass Mayor suffered car accident on Hwy 57

On Friday, June 8, at approximately 1:00 pm City of Eagle Pass Major Ramsey English Cantu was involved in a car accident on Highway 57.
According to sources, none of the parties involved in the accident suffered any injuries. The mayor’s white Cadillac apparently impacted another vehicle, resulting in serious damages in the front part of his vehicle.
Units from the local Eagle Pass Police Department responded to the incident location and took control of the situation.
