Eagle Pass, TX - A tragic highway accident claimed the life of an Eagle Pass man who was returning from his job at the oilfield Tuesday afternoon.
The driver traveling on a Ford Ranger was accompanied by a passenger who was seriously injured on the accident where the vehicle overturned on the highway.
The accident took place on TX FM 2644 between El Indio and Carrizo Springs, Texas.
According to authorities, the 47-year-old victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, passed away at the scene of accident.
The cause of the accident is being investigated by the Texas Department of Public Safety.
