Driver of vehicle involved in the accident where CCW student passed away arrested

Eagle Pass, TX - A 19-year-old male subject identified as Israel Torres Jr. was arrested by the Eagle Pass Police Department.

The man is being charged for two counts of intoxication assault, and one charge of intoxication manslaughter.

Torres is the alleged driver of the vehicle involved in the fatal accident that took place in front of the City of Eagle Pass city hall where 18-year-old CC Winn student Bryan Mata lost his life, and two other young passengers sustained severe injuries.
