Del Rio, TX - The members of the Del Rio High School (DRHS) Mighty Ram Band prepare for their next competition which will be for the State Marching Band Championship in San Antonio Texas.
The Ram Band achieved their pass to the state championship by winning the Area H regional competition this weekend in the city of San Antonio, Texas, where they faced five other high schools of which they would share the pass to the state.
The competition for the State Championship is scheduled on the 15th of December and the local band will be performing at 1:42 in the afternoon at the Alamodome in San Antonio Texas, the other high school that also made it to the final is from Lake Travis Texas.
The entire community is supporting the youth of the high school band as they can make history. 2020 might not be the year for many, but the Del Rio's marching band has a clear chance of being crowned state champions.
