Eagle Pass, TX - On Tuesday, December 10, the management team at Dollar Tree presented the Maverick County Sheriff’s Department with over 1,000 toys to be given to the Women Shelter, Child Protective Services, and low-income families who had previously registered for the giveaway.
In attendance during this event were Dollar Tree Manager Mario Martinez, Melisa Garza, and Adriana Fuentes, as well as Maverick County Sheriff Tom Schmerber and Chief Deputy Robert De Leon.
Maverick County Sheriff’s Department appreciates Dollar Tree's management team and it's customers for providing these toys for the community!
The toys were collected by offering customers the choice to donate $1 per toy on purchases made recently.
It is a good gesture of the store to offer customers the option to donate for community kids in need.
