Despite heavy law enforcement presence, Immigrants desperately crossing into the US


Eagle Pass, TX - At around 12 pm on Tuesday, a group of two women and three children were rescued from the waters of the Rio Grande River by Border Patrol.


Along the group were two babies carried by the women and a child approximately 5-6 years of age.

Despite Eagle Pass being heavily packed with local, state and federal law enforcement agents, a great amount of undocumented immigrants have been attempting to cross from Piedras Negras into Eagle Pass, TX.


Some of the immigrants that have been rescued lately have reported to be part of the caravan that is stationed in the Piedras Negras shelter, while others have reported to come on their own.

Eagle Pass, TX - Alrededor de las 12 pm del martes, un grupo de dos mujeres y tres niños fueron rescatados de las aguas del Río Grande por la Patrulla Fronteriza.

A lo largo del grupo había dos bebés llevados por las mujeres y un niño de aproximadamente 5 a 6 años de edad. A pesar de que Eagle Pass está repleto de agentes policiales locales, estatales y federales, se ha observado a una gran cantidad de inmigrantes indocumentados que intentan cruzar de Piedras Negras a Eagle Pass, TX. Algunos de los inmigrantes que han sido rescatados últimamente se reportan como parte de la caravana que está estacionada en el refugio de Piedras Negras, mientras que otros han reportado que vienen por su cuenta.
