Del Rio, Texas - A lifeless body of a man was recovered from the cold waters of the Amistad Dam near Del Rio, Texas by Border Patrol agents who immediately notified Val Verde County Sheriff Deputies who will conduct corresponding investigations.
With the limited information that was released It is presumed that the lifeless body is an undocumented immigrant who tried to cross into this country illegally over a week ago.
This case is being investigated by the Val Verde County Sheriff's Office under the supervision of Sheriff Joe Frank Martínez who will be working closely with the Ciudad Acuña authorities to identify this person.
Apparently the lifeless body of this person is a young man who was reported missing for at least ten days, part of a group of four undocumented immigrants who in their search for the "American Dream" only one managed to reach the U.S, while the other 3 were disappeared by the rapid waters of the Rio Grande.
It is expected that in the next few days it will be confirmed if the deceased person is the undocumented Cuban immigrant who was reported as missing last week.
Cuerpo sin vida recuperado de la presa Amistad cerca de Del Río
Del Rio, Texas - Un cuerpo de un hombre sin vida fue recuperado de las frías aguas de la presa Amistad en Del Rio, Texas, por agentes de la Patrulla Fronteriza que notificaron a los agentes del alguacil del condado de Val Verde que realizarán las investigaciones correspondientes.
Con la escasa información que se dio a conocer, se presume que el cuerpo sin vida es un inmigrante indocumentado que intentó cruzar ilegalmente a este país hace más de una semana.
Este caso está siendo investigado por la Oficina del Sheriff del Condado de Val Verde bajo la supervisión del Sheriff Joe Frank Martínez, quien trabajará de cerca con las autoridades de Ciudad Acuña para identificar a esta persona.
Al parecer el cuerpo sin vida de esta persona es un joven que fue reportado como desaparecido por al menos diez días, parte de un grupo de cuatro inmigrantes indocumentados que en su búsqueda del "Sueño Americano" solo uno logró llegar a Estados Unidos, mientras que el otro 3 fueron desaparecidos por las rápidas aguas del Río Grande.
Se espera que en los próximos días se confirme si la persona fallecida es el inmigrante cubano indocumentado que fue reportado como desaparecido la semana pasada.
