Saul J. Chacon (36) was combative and uncooperative with officers and physically assaulted an officer by striking him in the chest.
Eagle Pass, TX - On Sunday, Eagle Pass Police Officers responded to a reported disturbance at an apartment located within the 2400 block of Main Street.
Investigating officers discovered a male subject who had been assaulted by another male subject identified as 36-year-old Saul Javier Chacon.
The victim and a witness in the apartment informed the officers that Chacon had forced his way into the apartment via the front door and began to assault the victim with a metal pipe like object.
Medical Assistance was immediately summoned for the victim who was transported to the local emergency room for treatment of injuries sustained.
Chacon was taken into custody and transported to the police department and while at police department, Chacon was combative and uncooperative with officers and physically assaulted an officer by striking him in the chest.
Chacon was later presented before a magistrate and formally charged with burglary of a habitation with the intent to commit a felony, obstruction and retaliation ass well as assault on a public servant.
Chacon was remanded to the Tom Bowles Detention Center in lieu of a combined $22,000 bond.

La Asistencia Médica fue convocada de inmediato para la víctima que fue transportada a la sala de emergencias local para tratamiento de las lesiones sufridas.
Chacón fue puesto bajo custodia y transportado al departamento de policía y mientras estaba en el departamento de policía, Chacón fue combativo y no cooperativo con los oficiales y agredió físicamente a un oficial golpeándolo en el pecho.
Posteriormente, Chacon fue presentado ante un magistrado y acusado formalmente de robo de una habitación con la intención de cometer un delito grave, obstrucción y represalia, así como asalto a un servidor público.
Chacon fue enviado al Centro de Detención Tom Bowles en lugar de una fianza combinada de $ 22,000.
