Eagle Pass, TX - On Monday afternoon, Maverick County Sheriff Deputies met with CBP agents at the port of entry 2.
The federal agents stated a secondary check on a vehicle entering from Mexico yielded the discovery of a handgun (Springfield XD .40 Cal).
A check revealed the gun reported stolen out of San Antonio, Texas.
The male subject behind the wheel of the vehicle would be placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Eagle Pass, TX - El lunes por la tarde, los Diputados del Sheriff del Condado de Maverick se reunieron con agentes de CBP en el puerto de entrada 2. Los agentes federales declararon que un cheque secundario en un vehículo que entraba desde México dio como resultado el descubrimiento de una pistola (Springfield XD .40 Cal). Un cheque reveló que el arma reportada fue robada en San Antonio, Texas. El sujeto masculino al volante del vehículo se colocaría bajo arresto y se transportaría al Centro de Detención Tom Bowles para su procesamiento.
