Eagle Pass, TX - A democratic nominee for State Senator who months back "told off" a group of Maverick County residents is now begging for their vote.
The incident was reported by a local democratic candidate who along with a group of voters was offended by the insults coming from candidate Roland Gutierrez who is now the nominee for the democratic party and faces incumbent republican State Senator Pete Flores.
Gutierrez reportedly said, "Esta Gente No Vale Madre Aqui en Maverick" which translates to "These people here in Maverick are not worth a damn" as he observed the group of people supporting his then opposing candidate Xochil Peña Rodriguez, adding that "how can they support a corrupt candidate just like her father".
The source further indicated, Gutierrez performed such acts outside the Multi-Purpose Center back in February of 2020 while early voting was taking place, there are numerous witnesses that allegedly overheard the insults.
Now as the General Election approaches, the candidate is begging for the vote of the people who he reportedly claimed aren't worth a damn.
