Uvalde, TX - A major accident on Highway 83 South of Uvalde Estates in Uvalde, Texas took place around 2:00pm on Thursday.
According to reports, the accident involved three vehicles where unfortunately a baby who was traveling in one of the involved automobiles died.
Law enforcement and EMT personnel arrived at the scene to assist the parties involved and direction of traffic.
The road has been closed for over two hours, were the Texas Department of Public Safety remains on scene taking over of the investigation assisted by the Uvalde County Sheriff's Office.
Authorities estimate that the road will remain closed for at least four more hours, any traffic is suggested to utilize alternate roads.

Las autoridades estiman que la carretera permanecerá cerrada durante al menos cuatro horas más, se sugiere que cualquier tráfico utilice carreteras alternativas.
