Eagle Pass, TX - At around 11:45 pm, a serious accident took place on Veterans Blvd around the EPISD transportation department area. The area resulted with severe traffic congestion for approximately one hour.

The accident involved a total of three vehicles, where a man was trapped inside one of the vehicles but was assisted by first responders and transported to the local hospital.

According to police, the three vehicles that collided were a Chevy Suburban, Dodge Dart, and a Dodge Durango.

Five people involved in the accident were hospitalized. The accident is currently under investigation to determine responsibility.
