Carrizo Springs, TX - Local, State and Federal authorities are investigating the confirmed shooting at Dimmit County Sheriff's home.
Marion Boyd's son placed an emergency called to report a bullet hole in the home's window.
Upon deputies arrival, more bullet impacts in the Carrizo Springs residence were discovered.
The Texas Rangers, FBI and ATF department are involved in the ongoing investigation.
