Eagle Pass, TX- An unsupervised child under 2 years of age nearly drowned after falling into a swimming pool located inside an apartment complex located on Second Street.
The child remained inside water for a few moments, until seen and rescued by a Texas Department of Public Safety Police Officer.
Even though the infant was unconscious due to inhaling excessive water into his body, the Officer managed to perform effective CPR procedures resulting in reviving the child.
Due to the child’s condition he was airlifted to a Hospital in San Antonio, where he remains in recovery.
