Eagle Pass, TX.- As of now, at least five parents have filed complaints against an Eagle Pass ballet and dance instructor who accused of robbery.
The complainants stated that the instructor identified as Abel Sanchez, fraudulently charged them a $400 fee per girl to participate in a competition held in Galveston.
Surprisingly, when the families arrived to the competition, the instructor was not present and additionally they were advised that the team had not been registered to participate in the event, which caused a combined feeling of anger and disappointment.
The parents stated that aside from the $400 fee paid to the instructor they also disbursed travel expenditures such as meals, hotel and transportation.
The case remains under investigation by the Eagle Pass Police Department.
