Eagle Pass, TX - A 17-year-old allegedly crashed his parents' car into a residence fence after sneaking out and taking the vehicle without permission.
The incident took place on Monday evening at a home located in Las Hacienditas Sector, MCSO says.
According to the Sheriff department, the incident was treated as a hit-and-run, when the victim (property owner) reported a description of a vehicle matching the subject's vehicle which was found traveling on Loop 480 moments after the incident took place.
The teenager was identified a Reynaldo Leija who was placed under arrest, after his parents had filed a stolen vehicle report.
Leija was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center shortly after the incident.
