Eagle Pass, TX - EPPD forced entry to a vehicle in Eagle Pass after an infant was locked inside, parked on a commercial establishment located in the intersection of Bibb and Main St.
The 1-year-old child was left inside the vehicle after it accidentally locked on his mother.
According to reports, the child was in the back seat, when mother attempted to get off vehicle, leaving keys inside with the engine and A/C on. Baby was safely returned to his mother's care, without any regretful occurrences.
Police recommends to have extra-precaution with your children avoid leaving them inside vehicle in this extremely hot weather.
Back in May, a regretful tragedy occurred leading to the death of a baby girl when her dad apparently forgot her inside the vehicle.
