Murder trial set to begin in September

Eagle Pass, TX - The date has been set to September 6 for the trial of Christopher De Leon, charged with the murder of Miguel “Mike” Salinas and seriously injuring the victim’s brother, Sabino Salinas.
The tragedy occurred on late March, in a Deer Run subdivision house party in Eagle Pass.
District Attorney Roberto Serna stated that investigations in serious criminal cases take some time, but the DA’s office has gathered sufficient evidence and is well-prepared for this upcoming murder trial.
El juicio por asesinato comenzará en septiembre
La fecha se fijó para el 6 de septiembre para el juicio de Christopher De Leon, acusado del asesinato de Miguel "Mike" Salinas y lesionar gravemente al hermano de la víctima, Sabino Salinas.
El hombre fue acusado de dispararle a los dos hermanos Salinas, matando a uno y dejando al otro gravemente herido. La tragedia ocurrió a fines de marzo, en una fiesta en una casa unicada en la subdivisión Deer Run en Eagle Pass.
El fiscal de distrito Roberto Serna informó que las investigaciones en casos criminales graves toman algún tiempo, pero la oficina del fiscal ha reunido pruebas suficientes y está bien preparada para este próximo juicio.
