On his debut he knocked out his opponent with one stroke in less than 15 seconds
Fernando Gonzalez Treviño native of the Piedras Negras / Eagle Pass border had an impressive debut in the Bellator League Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) in early December of 2016 resulting in an impressive win.
Eagle Passan trainer and former boxer Raul Garza trained Fernando Gonzalez, previously to his joining to the American Kickboxing Academy (AKA), company for which he debuted as a Professional MMA fighter.
Bellator is the league that precedes the UFC professional league, where Mexican champion Cain Velazquez participates for AKA and shares training ring with Gonzalez Treviño.
In his debut González Treviño faced an MMA Professional fighter with an 11-fight record and impressively won the fight, taking the “nigropetense” (native of Piedras Negras) 15 seconds and one stroke to knock out his experienced opponent.
With a perfect record of 3 wins 0 losses, Gonzalez Treviño is set to participate on his fourth professional MMA fight on Saturday, July 13 at the WinStar Casino in Oklahoma.
