Eagle Pass, TX - Eagle Pass ISD superintendent of schools Samuel Mijares has announced that the school district will be awarding two new vehicles amongst perfect attendance students of both high schools.
According to Mijares, the school district will purchase two new vehicles with an estimated cost of $25,000 each and raffle one vehicle per high school; CC Winn High School and the Eagle Pass High School will both have a lucky winner.
In order to participate, students must have perfect attendance next semester, and is anticipating to raffle said vehicles approximately on June 2019.
This effort is to motivate students to attend school every day.
The superintendent added, that the Eagle Pass Independent School District would cover any registration fees incurred by the vehicle.
