Eagle Pass, TX - Early on the morning of Tuesday, May 24, Eagle Pass Junior High officials through their official facebook page recognized a student for his heroic response to an emergency situation.
Eagle Pass Junior High School student Justin Garcia (pictured) last week performed a Heimlich Maneuver on a fellow student and saved him from choking, according to EPJH officials.

Picture this: It’s a typical at EPJH. -the Students are eating in the cafeteria….. Suddenly, a fellow classmate begins to choke. Have no fear, Justin García is here!!! Justin performed the Heimlich Maneuver on a fellow student, saving him from choking last week. We are so grateful for his assistance in this frightening situation.
In acknowledgment of Justin’s quick thinking, EPJH rewarded him with a little token of appreciation!
Thank you so much Justin García for being the hero among us!!
Officials gifted the student an Apple Watch in appreciation for his quick response.

Eagle Pass, TX - Temprano en la mañana del martes 24 de mayo, los funcionarios de Eagle Pass Junior High a través de su página oficial de Facebook reconocieron a un estudiante por su heroica respuesta ante una situación de emergencia.
El estudiante de Eagle Pass Junior High School, Justin García (en la foto), realizó la semana pasada una maniobra de Heimlich en un compañero de estudios y lo salvó de asfixiarse, según funcionarios de EPJH.
